For example, if you have content that is older than 2 years, you might want to alert the user to check for new releases of the information.

label-old-poststo the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Place

Exactly what I needed.
Basic knowledge of PHP and the WordPress System might be needed to insert the code at the right place. But that also gives flexibility.
Works with WP 4.9.5 without problems.
