Upload the `update-comment-count` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install directly through the **Plugins > Add New** screen in your WordPress admin. 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress. 3. Go to **Update Comment Count** in the admin menu and click the button to recalculate your comment counts. ## Συχνές Ερωτήσεις ### Will this affect my existing comments? No. This plugin only recalculates and updates the `comment_count` value stored against each post. It does not add, remove, or modify any comments themselves. ### When should I use this? Typically after migrating a site, restoring a backup, or importing comments from another WordPress installation, where post comment counts no longer match the actual comments in your database. ### Is it safe to run more than once? Yes.
