Over the years I have tried all the main players in the backup and migration plugin arena and I thought I had it good, until a colleague convinced me to try WPVivid to address inconsistent results with my migration plugin - - NOW I have switched ALL sites to WPVivid for backup and migration needs. BACKUPSFull, DB, Custom-parts and/or Incremental backups at scheduled, triggered (auto BU upon activating a plugin update) or manual intervals AND many detailed settings to customize to your needs if you desire, but not required. I recently contacted their . BEST MIGRATION HANDS DOWN+Standard migration as you would think, but without the need for an extra add-on for big sites.+Server-to-server capability.+IT ALWAYS WORKS!TOP NOTCH SUPPORTAfter 2+ years of having WPVivid on all my sites, I recently emailed their support department for the first time for help with an issue on a single site. They responded in less than 6 hours with a direct response to my question AND (as the best support teams do) was willing to log in to the site and have a look. I figured out the problem before needing them to log in and it was not an issue with WPVivid. I have been using only one other backup plugin but it had some limits in the free version, but WPvivid provided what I needed pretty much every time. And when I had some issues I find the solution quickly on the forum.

WPvivid the plugin is a very important and necessary tool for creating website backups. In practice, using it, I was convinced of the quality of the settings, a clear interface. All backups are created quickly and without loss. Lots of features and great developer support.This is great work!

I got to know WPvivid a couple of months ago. Till that day, I always used the free version of Updraft. Updraft was sufficient at first, but once I needed more features I wanted to look elsewhere. WPvivid is definitely the most feature-rich backup plugin, that also comes with a staging feature, URL replacement, offsite backup interfaces, export/import feature and many other things. It's the small details that can make the difference, e.g. when I set up a staging site (and I can use a separate WP directory and separate database for that task) for fast push/pull in the future between staging & live, they automatically change the color of the admin bar and enable "discourage search engine" to avoid indexing pages from the staging or dev environment. There is a learning curve from my point of view as it offers quite a lot. So I did spend a lot of time in the last months with WPvivid and improving my setup and workflow. What I am doing now is, to run offsite backups and store it on cheap S3 storage, while I keep only 1 single copy of it local on my expensive server SSD. I don't think many of the things WPvivid offers is possible with other tools, and on top of it there is an LTD available which is important for me, because my clients take it for granted to have backups (it's difficult to charge them extra for backups) Next to a great plugin, I can tell the support went miles for me in the troubleshooting process. Troubleshooting usually means there are troubles, and in my particular case it was with Backblaze. In the end, I went without Backblaze as from what I learned now their architecture is perhaps not the best for WordPress offsite backups. Perhaps this depends on the website server and performance as well, but the bottleneck was mostly Backblaze itself, so I would recommend to go with something else than Backblaze B2 for offsite storage.

WPvivid Backup is a great plugin for WordPress backup and migration. It allows me to easily create backups of my entire site or just the database and files. It also lets me schedule backups automatically and send them to remote storage like Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon S3 and more. I can also migrate my site to a new domain or create a staging site with a single click. WPvivid Backup is reliable, efficient and easy to use. It has saved me a lot of time and hassle when managing my WordPress site. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a comprehensive backup and migration solution for WordPress.
