ListingKit is a free real-estate property import plugin that brings listings from almost anywhere — CSV, XML, live feeds, portals, CRMs, or another WordPress site — into your site and publishes them as native properties for your theme, photos and all. Point it at a file, a feed URL, or another site, confirm the column mapping (it’s filled in for you automatically), and click import. That’s it.

Theme compatibility
Listings are created as proper properties for your theme:
- Houzez — fully-mapped native listings: type, status, beds, baths, size, plot, price, location/map, features, energy rating, custom fields and the photo gallery.
- RealHomes — native listings incl. year built, plot/lot size and energy rating.
- WPResidence — native
estate_propertylistings. - Any other theme — a clean, complete listing page with the details and gallery.
The active theme is detected automatically — the same import lands natively wherever you run it.
Automatic field mapping
A built-in dictionary matches your columns to the right fields — including common Spanish, Portuguese and French names — so mapping is usually a quick confirmation, not a chore. Columns that don’t match a standard field can be mapped to your Houzez Fields Builder custom fields, or sent to “Additional details” — you adjust anything before importing.
AI descriptions — why AI, and how it helps
When you import listings, the portal descriptions are identical to what’s already on hundreds of other websites. Google calls that duplicate content, and it quietly buries your listings — so your beautiful new site doesn’t rank.

Automatic synchronization (scheduled auto-sync)
Your first import is a one-time job — but a property catalog is a living thing: new listings appear, prices change, properties sell. With a ListingPress plan you can put your source on a schedule (hourly, twice-daily or daily) and ListingKit keeps your site current automatically — new listings added, sold ones updated, prices corrected — with no one at the keyboard. Re-runs are smart: unchanged listings are skipped, and your manual edits (drafts, deletions) are respected.
Typical workflow: Houzez Houzez migration
- Install ListingKit on both the old site and the new Houzez site (free).
- On the source site, open Settings ListingKit and copy the export key.
- On the new site, open Property Import Another WordPress site, paste the source URL + key.
- Click Start import — properties, photos, features, taxonomies and custom fields transfer as native Houzez listings.
- (Optional) Connect a free ListingPress account and enable Rewrite with AI so the migrated descriptions are unique.
The same flow works for RealHomes Houzez, or for a CSV/XML/feed source.

External services
This plugin can connect to ListingPress (https://listingpress.io), operated by ListingPress, but only when you choose to use the connected-account features. It works fully for manual importing without any account or external connection.
The plugin contacts ListingPress in these cases, and only these:

When you click “Connect a free account”. The plugin creates a WordPress Application Password on your site and sends it, together with your site URL and username, to ListingPress so your site can be linked to your account. This happens once, only when you click Connect.

When you enable “Rewrite with AI” during an import. For each listing being rewritten, the plugin sends that listing’s title and description to ListingPress, which returns a rewritten description. This happens only while an import with AI rewriting is running.

Plan status refresh, only while an account is connected. So the screen shows your current plan after an upgrade or cancellation, the plugin asks ListingPress for your plan status when you open the import screen (at most once per hour). This request contains your connection token only — no site content is sent.
If you never connect an account, the plugin makes no contact with ListingPress at all. Disconnecting your account (from your ListingPress account page, or by deleting the plugin) stops all of the above.
When you import from a feed URL or another website, the plugin fetches data from the address you provide — those sites are your own sources, not a ListingPress service.

Install the plugin
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins Add New and search for “ListingKit – AI Property Import”, then click Install and Activate. (Or upload the plugin ZIP via Plugins Add New Upload Plugin.)
- Open the new Property Import menu in the admin sidebar.
Run your first import
- Choose a source — a CSV/XML file, a feed URL (Kyero, Property Finder, Resales-Online, REDSP…), a Pixxi CRM account, or another WordPress site.
- Confirm the suggested field mapping (map any extra columns to your Houzez custom fields if you like) and click Start import.
- Watch it publish native listings with photos. Large catalogs import steadily in the background.
Unlock AI + auto-sync (optional)
- Click Connect a free account to link ListingPress, then enable Rewrite with AI for unique, SEO-friendly descriptions — and set a schedule for automatic synchronization on a paid plan.
Site-to-site (e.g. Houzez Houzez)
Install ListingKit on both sites, copy the export key from Settings ListingKit on the source site, then on the destination choose Property Import Another WordPress site and paste the source URL + key.

Can I migrate from RealHomes to Houzez (or Houzez to Houzez)?

Yes. Install ListingKit on both sites and use Property Import Another WordPress site. RealHomes fields are translated to Houzez automatically, and Houzez custom fields (from Fields Builder) are carried over and recreated on the destination.

Can I map columns to my Houzez custom fields?

Yes. On a Houzez site, your Houzez Fields Builder custom fields appear as mapping targets, so a CSV/XML/feed column can be sent straight into the right custom field.

Will a big import slow down or break my site?

No. Imports run in small background batches, so large catalogs import steadily without overwhelming shared hosting. Leave the page and it pauses; come back and it continues.

Never. Source sites and feeds are accessed read-only.

What is “AI rewriting” for and why would I want it?

Portal descriptions are identical across many sites, which can trigger a search-engine duplicate-content penalty. AI rewriting turns each description into unique copy so your site reads as original and has a better chance to rank.

- Fixed: importing from a site (or feed) after the source address was entered a slightly different way — with or without a trailing slash, www, or http vs https — could re-import the whole catalog as duplicates instead of updating the existing listings. The source address is now matched in a normalized form, so re-runs correctly update. A one-time cleanup on update also re-links any duplicates left by this issue so the built-in “Duplicate cleanup” tool can remove them.
- New: scheduled re-imports now skip listings whose source hasn’t changed since the last run — no wasted database writes, taxonomy or image work — so recurring auto-sync is much faster and far lighter on your hosting. Only listings that actually changed are updated.
- New: site-to-site migrations now carry over custom Houzez fields (created in Houzez Fields Builder), including multi-value checkbox and multi-select fields — not just the standard property fields. The custom fields themselves are recreated on the destination site automatically, so the imported values display right away with no manual re-setup (existing fields are never overwritten).
- New: CSV/XML/feed columns can now be mapped straight into your Houzez Fields Builder custom fields from the import wizard.
- Improved: the plan comparison now shows all three tiers — Free, Auto Sync and Pro — including which include scheduled automatic syncing.
