Περιγραφή
Analytics CORE is a website analytics service (an external, hosted service — see “External services” below). This plugin adds its measurement tag to your site so you do not have to edit your theme.
Why a plugin instead of pasting the tag into your theme?
- Theme updates cannot delete it. A tag pasted into
header.phpdisappears the next time the theme updates. - Page-speed plugins cannot break it. Plugins that combine or minify JavaScript can pull an external tag into a bundled file and rewrite its URL. When that happens the tag can stop reporting — silently, with no error anywhere. This plugin outputs the attributes that LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, WP Fastest Cache, Breeze and Cloudflare Rocket Loader look for, so the tag is left alone.
- It only blocks combining, not deferring. Your page speed is not affected: the tag is
asyncand can still be deferred by your cache plugin. - You can check it. One click fetches your own home page and confirms the tag is really there, and that its URL has not been rewritten.
See your numbers without leaving WordPress (optional).
Paste a read-only API key and the plugin adds a dashboard widget and a toolbar item showing:
- today’s and yesterday’s visitors, and the last seven days as a small chart;
- visitors, views and conversions over the last seven days, and your most viewed pages;
- whether measurement data is still arriving. A tag can stop reporting silently — a theme update, a caching plugin, a change of host. If nothing has arrived for a day, you see it where you already work instead of finding out weeks later.
The key is read-only: it cannot change anything in your Analytics CORE account. Numbers are fetched once an hour in the background, never while one of your pages is loading. Without a key, the plugin asks Analytics CORE for nothing.
Nothing is sent until you say so. Until you enter your Site ID and save, the plugin outputs nothing and contacts nothing.
You need an Analytics CORE account to use this plugin. A free plan is available.
External services
This plugin loads the measurement tag from, and sends measurement data to, Analytics CORE (https://analyticscore.jp), a service operated by Pifto Works.
When data is sent: only after you enter a Site ID and save the settings, and only for visits to the public part of your site.
What is sent: the page URL, the referring URL, screen size, device type, language, and the interactions the service measures (page views, clicks, scroll depth, custom events you define in the service). Your visitors’ IP addresses are not stored by the service; they are used transiently to derive a coarse region.
What is not sent: no data about you as the site owner — no administrator e-mail address, no user accounts, no post content.
Reading your numbers back (only if you add an API key): if you paste a read-only API key under Settings, the plugin asks https://analyticscore.jp/api/v1/site-summary once an hour, and when you press “Refresh now”, for the summary shown on your dashboard. The request contains your Site ID and your API key and nothing else. Remove the key and the requests stop.

Συχνές Ερωτήσεις
-
Do I need an account?
-
Yes. The plugin sends measurement data to the Analytics CORE service, which is where you view your reports. A free plan is available.
-
Does it work without this plugin?
-
Yes. The plugin is only a convenience: it outputs the same one-line snippet you can paste yourself. Every feature of the service works without it.
-
Will it slow down my site?
-
The tag is loaded asynchronously and the plugin adds no front-end CSS or JavaScript of its own. The plugin asks page-speed plugins not to combine the tag into a bundle, but it does not stop them from deferring it.
-
The check says the tag was bundled into another file. What do I do?
-
Add the tag to the “exclude from JS combine” list of your page-speed plugin, then clear both the page cache and the combined CSS/JS cache. Clearing only one of the two is the usual reason it appears not to work.
-
Does it track logged-in editors?
-
Not by default. Visits by users who can edit posts are excluded so your own browsing does not distort the numbers. You can turn this off.
-
Do I have to add an API key?
-
No. Everything the plugin did before works without one. The key only lets the plugin read back the numbers you can already see in your Analytics CORE dashboard, so they can appear inside WordPress.
-
Who can see the numbers in WordPress?
-
Only users who can manage options. The key is stored in your site’s options table, like any other plugin setting, and is never printed on the settings screen once saved.
-
Will fetching the numbers slow down my admin screens?
-
No. The plugin never contacts Analytics CORE while a page is being rendered. A background job fetches the summary once an hour and everything on screen reads that cached copy. If a fetch fails, the last numbers stay visible with a note saying how old they are.
-
Does it store anything on the visitor’s device?
-
Not by default. Telling new and returning visitors apart is off unless you turn it on.
